Winter Downtown Wedding Photography | Madison, Wisconsin

I've always thought winter weddings had a magical feel to them. Maybe it's because the first winter wedding I ever attended was in the Colorado mountains and absolutely delightful. Brides and grooms don't often choose a winter wedding here in Madison, WI - at least from my limited 7 years of living here - but when I am lucky enough to photograph one, It's always a treat. Thankfully their day wasn't too cold and beautifully decorated for Christmas! Check out my favorite images I photographed for Maureen as her second photographer.

Farm to Table Event on the farm in Madison, WI | Good Food Garden Party

The Good Food Garden Party is a Community Groundworks fundraising event with a farm to table meal held right in the midst of the beautiful community garden plots and kids garden near Troy Community Farm on Madison's North side.

What I know to be true about this event:

It's held in September which is one of the best times to enjoy a walk through the community gardens. Usually the plots are bursting with plants and flowers, with no two plots looking exactly the same. Oliver's Public House (one of several amazing vendors) was sure to serve up some seriously delicious food, and Gail Ambrosius chocolates NEVER disappoint!

Other vendors:

The Cajun Cook

The Goodie Two Shoes

The Looking Glass Bakery

Salvatore's Tomato Pies

Golf Course Wedding Photography

As I've been transitioning away from photographing family sessions and into booking up my summers with weddings, I've enjoyed being a second photographer for Maureen to fill in my summer schedule and keep up my craft throughout the summer. Here are some of my favorite images I photographed for her at a golf course wedding in Wisconsin!

Madison December Wedding Photography

December wedding, December wedding! I love December weddings! This wedding exceeded my expectations with wonderfully gorgeous details, chilly Madison Wisconsin air, and a great couple making a commitment of love to one another. Thank you Maureen for having me along to be a second photographer to you!
