Jordan and I have been Madison, WI residents for a little over 6 years now, but before getting married and moving to Wisconsin, we lived in Colorado Springs, CO where I grew up. Chris has been a long time friend of mine and Jordan and Chris were even roommates for a small time period. Natasha came on the scene around the time of our marriage and moving 1000 miles away but that didn’t stop us from growing a friendship with her. Chris and Natasha’s wedding was a long time coming and I couldn’t have been more honored to be their wedding photographer for the day (with Jordan documenting their day along side me). One thing I loved about Natasha is that she trusted my professional opinion and let me help with the planning! She would email me when she was considering X, Y, or Z venues to talk about the look of the venue and the potential for great natural light streaming in on their wedding day (since their wedding was planned for late October and for all we knew, it could have been freezing and snowing on their wedding day!) Ultimately Chris and Natasha chose the great venue Cielo at Castle Pines with the reception in Denver at Maggiano’s Little Italy at Denver’s 16th Street Mall. Some noteworthy details from the photographers perspective on their wedding day: 1) The way Chris looked at Natasha all day was super endearing. 2) I was super impressed by not only the interactions of Chris and Natasha with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, but also how wonderful the actual bridesmaids and groomsmen interacted with one another and had fun! Sometimes stress can run high and there can be odd tension or sometimes the bridal party isn’t really into it but this group rocked it and were some of my favorites! 3) Their reception not only had great food but had an intimate feel to it. They also had a super fun dance party that was totally unexpected given the amount of space we had for dancing. Chris and Natasha – your wedding was so fun and enjoyable to photograph! We couldn’t be more happy for the two of you and hope the best for many many years to come. Thanks for the honor of hiring us for your wedding day. Looking forward to photographing you two again soon!

Side Note: We aim to photograph 1-2 weddings a year in Colorado (Colorado Springs, Denver, or even further possibly). It works well for us because our loved ones are there and we can combine trips there to include work and play with family. We will be back in Colorado May 2015 to photograph a wedding. Contact us if you are interested in skyping about your Colorado Wedding!
